TODAY is the last day to pick up Nomination Papers!

To be included on the Ballot for the March 6, 2026 municipal elections you must submit your completed nomination petition by Monday, January 5, 2026

We are still in need of folks to serve on the available postions.

Don't let the deadline intimidate you! If you are interested in running. I will make arrangement with you to make sure you can turn in your nomination papers in a timely manner. Contact Jenn via her cell at 578-0341 if needed.

As of November 26th - Nomination Papers  became available for the 2026 Town Election of Officers.  

2026 Elections include

1st Selectman - 3 year term

2nd Selectman - 2 year term

3rd Selectman - 1 year term

Planning Board - 3 year term

Budget Committee - 3 year term

Trustee of Shaw Library - 5 year term

You can obtain papers from the Town Clerk during Town Office hours.

25 Mercer registered voter signatures are required.
